In Glasgow, Scotland, I found myself enchanted by the varied and wonderful world of birds.

One day, observing them in their distinct environments, I marvelled at how well adapted they were. This moment of realization spurred me to capture their essence on canvas.

However, from the photo of the emperor penguins I used for reference, these were different; they seemed to welcome the arrival of their companions.

Through these paintings, I aimed to convey the feeling of harmony and adaptation these birds have to their environments. Each bird must make its own way in the world, a sentiment I deeply resonated with.

Creating this collection was more than an artistic endeavour; it was a journey of connection and reflection. I hope viewers see themselves in these birds, finding solace in their harmony and strength in their adaptation.
